Overview
YEAR-ROUND PRODUCTION IN CENTRAL ALASKA
With its central location on the Kenai Peninsula, OBI Seafoods Seward is at the hub for fishing grounds in Prince William Sound, Cook Inlet and the Gulf of Alaska. Located on a fjord called Resurrection Bay, the small town of Seward is the gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park and is accessible to Anchorage by road. OBI Seward operates year-round and participates in most Alaska fisheries. The highest volume product is canned salmon in the summer season, and the plant also produces large volumes of halibut, sablefish, and rockfish.
